Looking absolutely fabulous in this stylish outfit! Ready to turn heads at any event!
The Golden Globes night was ablaze with vibrant fashion choices, but none quite as striking as Margot Robbie’s homage to Barbie. The acclaimed actress, nominated in the Best Actress in a Musical category, made a memorable appearance on the star-studded red carpet in a mesmerizing neon pink gown, exquisitely adorned with a tulle hot pink boa for an added touch of doll-like charm.
Robbie graced the event in a custom V-neck Armani gown, entirely sequined to perfection, accompanied by a sparkling tulle wrap—a creation that paid homage to the 1977 Superstar Barbie doll. Collaborating with her longtime stylist, Andrew Mukamal, Robbie meticulously curated this iconic ensemble, with Mukamal sharing an image of the referenced doll on his Instagram stories as Robbie made her entrance. Completing her ensemble were dazzling Manolo Blahnik shoes and a selection of jewelry, including 30-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond studs and a three-carat D Flawless old cut Golconda Diamond ring adorned with natural vivid pink diamonds.
Her beauty regimen complemented the radiant ensemble, boasting a glowy, pink-toned aesthetic that harmonized flawlessly with her gown. Robbie’s makeup highlighted her skin, accentuating flushed cheeks, tinged pink lips, and voluminous lashes. Her signature blonde locks were freshly highlighted and radiant, adding to the allure of the evening.
This isn’t the first time Robbie and Mukamal have drawn inspiration from vintage Barbie dolls. During last year’s Barbie press tour, many of Robbie’s ensembles paid homage to iconic Barbie looks. In Los Angeles, for the movie premiere, she stunned in a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, reminiscent of the 1960 Solo In the Spotlight doll. Following a brief hiatus from Barbie-inspired looks, Robbie triumphantly returned at the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Awards in a pale pink polka-dotted ensemble, much to the delight of fashion enthusiasts.
