” The Brand Parole originated to give Inmates a chance to have a fresh start to (earn) better living during the period of their convictions and after their release.”
– Abhishek Dutta
The best part of this sustainable brand is that most of the collection are hand woven by inmates and the packaging uses most of the recycled materials. Means it’s not just changing the lives of inmates, it has considered giving back to the mother nature by making a sustainable and eco-friendly brand. The collection of men and women wear are limited to western and Indo-western style at the moment as it’s been a constant process of training and involving new inmates ones the old ones get released. The fabrics used for the collections are mostly cotton, linen, denim, and jamdani blends. Both will soon retail at multi-brand stores and well-known online portals.
Dutta has also introduced inmates as a face of the brand in each and every promotion so people can have a non-discriminatory approach to inmates life choices, inside and out.
