Zendaya is redefining the concept of love with her recent red carpet appearances. At the Los Angeles premiere of “Challengers,” the actress embraced a new interpretation of red carpet attire, steering away from the usual tennis-inspired looks and opting for a more glamorous approach.

For the event, Zendaya stunned in a custom lingerie-inspired gown by Vera Wang. The bodice of the dress featured intricate corsetry details, including a lacy bustier with sheer inserts, delicate spaghetti straps, and garter accents cascading down to the skirt. The bottom half of the gown showcased a princess-style silhouette with a billowing pink and black skirt. Zendaya completed her look with understated makeup, a chic updo, and accessories from Bulgari, adding a touch of elegance to her ensemble.

Throughout the press tour for “Challengers,” Zendaya and her Image Architect, Law Roach, have embraced method dressing, embodying the essence of her character, Tashi Duncan. While the lingerie-inspired gown may seem subtle compared to her previous athleisure looks, it perfectly captures the seductive nature of Tashi’s character, who is entangled in a love triangle in the film.

Following her red carpet appearance, Zendaya made another fashion statement at the after-party, this time embracing a more traditional method dressing approach with a tennis ball yellow dress. Designed by Celia Kritharioti, the neon party dress featured a halter neckline, a daring cut that grazed her belly button, and a striking 3D tennis ball embellishment, complemented by a center slit. Zendaya once again opted for simple and natural glam, allowing the vibrant dress to take center stage.
