Masaba Gupta’s journey into fine jewellery is a natural progression of her design philosophy. Having previously collaborated with Amrapali on non-precious ornaments, she now introduces a range of heritage-inspired pieces designed for modern lifestyles. The collection reflects her brand’s evolution alongside its consumers, who now seek jewellery that blends permanence with wearability.

Gupta’s vision comes alive in bold, contemporary designs enriched with homegrown motifs. From traditional haars to modern chokers, elevated ear stacks, and affirmation-adorned bracelets, the collection is a testament to her distinctive style. The campaign, titled Identity Crisis, captures this transformation while staying true to the brand’s core ethos.

A collaboration with Tarang Arora, Creative Director and CEO of Amrapali Jewels, this collection celebrates inclusivity and artisanry. Designed as gender-fluid pieces, it features a treasure trove of gemstones, including tourmalines, peridots, tanzanites, citrines, topazes, diamonds, pearls, rubies, and emeralds, transforming each item into a unique modern heirloom.

The design process was a meticulous blend of innovation and tradition. Inspired by signature House of Masaba motifs like the Nandi, toffee, camera, and palm, the collection brings these mascots to life as talismans in fine jewellery. Thoughtful craftsmanship, refined goldwork, and an array of vibrant stones ensure the pieces resonate deeply with Indian sensibilities.

The collection seeks to redefine the fine jewellery experience. Every piece is created to feel both timeless and versatile, catering to those who value heirloom-worthy investments as well as playful indulgences. Noteworthy designs include an affirmation necklace inscribed with the words Nirbhau, Nirvair, and Nimrata (without fear, without hate, and with love) and one-of-a-kind Nandi earrings adorned with a large Cabochon emerald.
