Simone Bellotti Appointed Creative Director of Jil Sander

il Sander and its parent company, OTB, have announced that Simone Bellotti will take over as the brand’s new creative director. This news comes just weeks after the departure of designers Luke and Lucie Meier, marking a fresh chapter for the storied fashion house.

“I am incredibly honored to join Jil Sander,” Bellotti said in a statement, acknowledging the brand’s lasting influence on the design world.

Bellotti’s appointment follows his critically acclaimed but brief tenure at Bally, where he revitalized the Swiss luxury label with sharp tailoring and a distinct sense of play. Prior to that, he spent 16 years at Gucci, working under both Frida Giannini and Alessandro Michele.

OTB Chairman Renzo Rossi expressed confidence in Bellotti’s leadership, stating, “Simone embarks on this journey with extensive experience and a distinct talent. We share a strategic vision for Jil Sander, rooted in innovation and sophistication.”
