A Modern Fairytale Surbhi Chandna’s Wedding Chronicles.

As festivities abound this month, we were captivated by yet another stunning bride, Surbhi Chandna, of Ishqbaaz fame. Surbhi tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, Karan Sharma, at the Chomu Palace in Jaipur on March 2, 2024.

Surbhi and Karan shared a series of wedding pictures on their Instagram handle, and amidst the flurry of images, what caught our attention was Surbhi’s elegant yet unconventional choice of bridal attire. Departing from the traditional palette of reds, pinks, and ivories, Surbhi opted for a soothing shade of sea green.

Embracing the wedding spirit with style, Surbhi Chandna dazzled in a striking sea green lehenga from Bindani by Jigar and Nikita. Her selection of lehenga and its contemporary silhouette truly paid homage to every modern bride. The lehenga set boasted intricate zardozi embroidery adorned with floral motifs crafted with French knots and sequin work. Each panel of the lehenga featured a paisley design heavily embellished with golden zari work, adding to its grandeur.

Adding a perfect modern touch to the traditional lehenga skirt was the corset-style blouse. It was a masterpiece in itself! Adorned with chunky pearls that exuded sophistication, the blouse featured a sweetheart neckline and full sleeves, accentuating the neckline and collarbone while subtly infusing a contemporary vibe. However, what truly caught our attention was the blouse’s hemline, adorned with arches made of pearls, paying homage to the architectural beauty of the Chomu Palace, Surbhi’s chosen wedding venue.

The actress opted for two dupattas, one matching the sea green hue of her lehenga, while the other was a single drape in blush pink. Adorned with pearl embellishments along the hemline, her bridal look perfectly aligned with the current ‘PearlCore’ trend.When it came to her wedding ensemble, Qubool Hai actress Surbhi Chandna’s stylist, Pranavi Chandna, adorned her ensemble with a coordinating statement choker. Featuring sea green stones and pearls, the choker from Gehna Jewellers not only complemented the outfit but also accentuated the blouse’s neckline. She further accessorized with a matching maang tikka from AZOTIIQUE by Varun Raheja and dangling earrings.
