Stepping into the spotlight with style and grace! This outfit is pure perfection!

Lily Gladstone made history with her nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role in “Killers of the Flower Moon.” This nomination marked her as the first Indigenous nominee in that category, following in the footsteps of Irene Bedard, who received a nomination in 1994 for her role in the TV movie “Lakota Woman: Siege at Wounded Knee” in the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television. While Gladstone’s nomination is significant, she faces tough competition among nominees like Carey Mulligan, Greta Lee, Cailee Spaeny, Annette Bening, and Sandra Hüller.

At the 2024 Golden Globes ceremony, Gladstone arrived on the red carpet in a stunning white strapless Valentino gown paired with a striking black opera coat. She was accompanied by co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. Gladstone mentioned that her ensemble was reminiscent of her attire at Cannes, also designed by the renowned Italian fashion house. To incorporate her Indigenous heritage into her look, she wore earrings by Blackfeet designer Lenise Omeaso from Antelope Women Designs. Growing up on a Blackfeet reservation in Montana, Gladstone’s choice to include Indigenous design elements in her outfit carried personal significance. DiCaprio also paid tribute to the film by wearing a small pin depicting the symbol of the Osage Nation on his tuxedo.
