Bold, beautiful, and blue Sobhita Dhulipala’s fashion statement at the film festival leaves us spellbound.
Sobhita Dhulipala has undeniably established herself as one of Bollywood’s prominent figures in 2023, celebrated for her elegant yet alluring fashion sense. The 31-year-old, with her captivating doe-eyed charm, consistently sets the fashion bar high, effortlessly blending street-style vibes with classic elegance whether it’s a casual outing or a formal affair. Recently, the acclaimed actor was honored with an invitation to the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2023 to introduce Sofia Coppola’s “Priscilla,” a film centered around the intricate life of Priscilla Presley and her complex relationship with the legendary Elvis Presley, to an exclusive audience of cinephiles. Dhulipala took to her Instagram account to share glimpses of her attire for this special screening.
For this intimate event, Sobhita Dhulipala chose a luxurious satin co-ord set in a striking sapphire blue hue from the fashion brand Qua. The set comprised a wrap-around neckline high top with versatile straps that could be styled in multiple ways. It featured a slit down the center, accentuating elegant pleats. The high-rise trousers, with a barrel-fit design, boasted intricate draping on the front, extending into the loop of the belt. The use of lustrous satin fabric in combination with the jewel-toned color not only elevated the co-ord set but also beautifully complemented Dhulipala’s figure, enhancing the allure of the pleats. Completing her ensemble, the actor adorned her signature movie-star glamorous makeup, featuring a bold red lip and winged eyeliner.
Co-ord sets, originally a product of the Y2K era, have witnessed a remarkable resurgence in recent years, both on and off the runway, owing to their versatility and effortless style that can be worn as separates. It’s nearly impossible to peruse a celebrity’s ensemble without encountering at least one co-ord set. Numerous renowned brands, including Marc Jacobs, Jill Sander, Hermes, Chanel, and Gucci, have capitalized on this trend by incorporating co-ord sets into their ready-to-wear collections.
