Grier Henchy’s homage to her mother’s style a stunning rendition of Brooke Shields’ iconic black gown.
Grier Hammond Henchy has consistently shown her support for her mother, Brooke Shields, on various red carpet occasions. Their most recent appearance together at the CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute event showcased Grier’s deep admiration for her mom in a unique and touching manner.
During the event, Grier opted to wear a significant piece from her mother’s fashion archives. Stepping onto the red carpet alongside Shields, Grier donned a striking black silk strapless gown designed by Richard Tyler. The dress boasted midsection boning and an elegant A-line skirt, exuding a timeless charm. Complementing the gown, Grier accessorized with black pointed-toe pumps, gold hoop earrings, and a selection of matching rings.
The dress might have struck a chord of familiarity for keen observers, as it was a nostalgic choice. This particular black gown was previously worn by Shields herself in 2006 at the 17th annual Carousel of Hope Ball. Back then, Shields had styled the gown with a bedazzled cuff bracelet, black drop earrings, and an updo featuring a super deep side part and a face-framing tuft.
Grier’s choice not only reflects her own blossoming modeling career but also pays homage to her mother’s impeccable fashion sense, beautifully echoing a stylish legacy.
