India Couture Week – Day 3

On the third day of FDCI X Hyundai India Couture Week 2023, in association with Reliance Brands, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor graced the ramp for Varun Bahl and Gaurav Gupta, respectively.

Three days ago, the 16th edition of India Couture Week commenced with great enthusiasm and anticipation. The fashion extravaganza is taking place at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi and will run until August 2. The event is a joint effort by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and Hyundai Motor India. The opening show of FDCI X Hyundai India Couture Week 2023 was presented by designers Falguni Shane Peacock in association with Reliance Brands. Actor Kiara Advani graced the ramp as their showstopper, showcasing their signature couture collection named ‘Renaissance Reverie’.

Bhumi Pednekar

Bhumi Pednekar stole the spotlight in a stunning gold ensemble as she graced the ramp for couturier Varun Bahl during his showcase of the collection ‘Inner Bloom’, inspired by the ever-evolving beauty of nature. Pednekar looked mesmerizing in a fishnet skirt paired with a bralette adorned with exquisite gold hand embroidery. Her look was further enhanced with elegant neckpieces, slave bracelets, and golden stilettos, making her a sight to behold on the runway.

Jahnvi Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor graced the ramp as the showstopper for Gaurav Gupta’s collection ‘Hiranyagarbha’. She looked absolutely stunning in an electric blue lehenga adorned with an impressive 3000 hand-embroidered bugle beads, a labor of 457 man hours. Her resplendent presence added a touch of elegance and glamour to the show, leaving everyone in awe of her showstopper silhouette.
