Karisma Kapoor, recognized as a style icon, was bestowed with the title of Vogue’s Force of Fashion in 2023. At a recent awards ceremony, where she was styled by Vrinda Narang, Karisma Kapoor donned a striking multi-colored saree from couturier Sabyasachi’s autumn/winter 2023 collection. She paired the saree with a sleeveless black blouse and accessorized with the luxury brand’s iconic Bengal tiger minaudière. The saree boasted multiple circular patterns in bold hues such as neon yellow, which blended seamlessly with the sequins to create a maximal impact.In order to allow the saree to take center stage, Kapoor opted for a sleek look elsewhere, styling her hair in a ponytail and opting for glowing makeup. She kept jewelry to a minimum, choosing only a graphic blue eyeliner to add extra drama to her ensemble.

The Calcutta-based designer, who began the year with a unique high jewelry show in New Delhi, draws inspiration from vintage nostalgia in both his clothing and decor. Mukherjee has garnered acclaim in the realm of Indian maximalist fashion, particularly with his Heritage Bridal collection, known for its vibrant colors and prints on timeless garments like the saree. Celebrities like Deepika Padukone have previously adorned similar bursts of color from his spring/summer 2020 collection for the Sabyasachi Art Foundation.
