Priyanka Chopra proves that the cropped jacket is the ultimate concert staple

She recently wore an outfit with her take on a trend that’s been picking up steam: the small, cropped jacket, spotted on the likes of Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber after dominating runways in the winter.

The actress was photographed at a Jonas Brothers show wearing an outfit that consisted of a midi skirt from Bulgari and a racecar check-patterned bralette, on top of which she wore a baggy, glossy, cropped shacket, left open. Chopra paired the outfit with strappy black heels and silver jewellery and carried Bulgari’s Serpenti shoulder bag, all while sporting her signature red lip. Outerwear has always evaded the midriff-baring movement—till now. As skirt and pant hemlines are falling down, jackets and coats are going up: the runways during New York Fashion Week were replete with mini leather jackets, small blazers, and shortened shearlings. With this outfit, Chopra joins the already impressive list of style icons—like Selena Gomez—who have been willing to take on the trend.
