Sonam Kapoor Ahuja just gave us a full-on Gatsby-meets-2024 fashion moment, and we’re here for it! Styled by her sister and forever fashion partner-in-crime, Rhea Kapoor, the Bollywood OG pulled up to the Dior Couture Show in a dreamy Anamika Khanna fit that screamed flapper-core.

We’re talking a milky white satin dress draped in layers of tassels—because drama, duh. And just when you thought it couldn’t get better, she threw on a matching cape, also fringed to perfection. The whole look was giving vintage but make it couture, with hand-painted filigree florals adding that extra artsy touch (a total Anamika Khanna signature move).

And let’s talk about the bling! Sonam dripped in Amrapali Jewels, serving major old-money energy with diamond and pearl studs, a pearl-laden hasli-style necklace, and a longer chain stacked with black diamonds and a sautoir tassel—giving the whole look movement and main character vibes.

“We just love to have fun with fashion without thinking too much about trends but instead gravitate toward what we find beautiful,” Kapoor shared, summing up the effortlessly chic philosophy that makes the Kapoor sisters’ styling so iconic. The inspo? A Cecil Beaton portrait of Mrs. Rhoda Cameron Clarke, a British high-society It-girl from the 1930s. Talk about a throwback done right!
