Suki Waterhouse graces the Emmys in a showstopping red Valentino creation, proving that pregnancy glow is the best accessory.
Suki Waterhouse graced the Emmys red carpet solo, sans her partner Robert Pattinson, but with a delightful companion – her baby bump. The actress and musician, whose show “Daisy Jones and the Six” is a nominee for three awards at the ceremony, donned a stunning red Valentino gown that boasted a feature beloved by many – pockets.
The Valentino ensemble showcased a square, apron-style bodice with open sides. Waterhouse revealed that although the dress had been in the making for months, a few adjustments were necessary as her pregnancy progressed into the later stages. The gown also sported a sizable bow, a drop waist, and an extravagant floor-sweeping ballgown-style skirt.
Speaking to E!’s Laverne Cox on the red carpet, Waterhouse explained, “They had to redesign the dress to accommodate the bump. I’m really glad they made it work.” Despite the changes, the actress looked radiant and elegant in her modified ensemble, celebrating both her show’s nominations and the impending arrival of her baby.
